There are some stairs to take. But even the way down is a revelation with magnificent views of the sea and the offshore island of Brac.

we love to be by the sea

The sea, with its clear, sparkling water, is a place of joy and relaxation for us all. Enjoy your time at the beach and help preserve this special place. Together, we can ensure that everyone can enjoy it to the full.

Cleanliness on the beach ➜ Rubbish is never pretty – and it’s even less so on the beach. Please don’t leave any rubbish behind, including cigarette butts. Take your rubbish with you and help keep the beach clean and inviting.

Forest fire risk ➜ In summer, it is particularly hot and dry, which increases the risk of forest fires. Therefore, we ask you not to smoke on the way to the beach. Open fires are strictly prohibited for safety reasons!

Via Artistica – our tip for a trip

The Via Artistica offers spectacular views and artistic sculptures along the way. The hike or drive by car starts in Marušići and takes you along the old road that runs above the main road to the neighbouring village of Mimice. Follow the road – with the sea on your left and the mountains on your right – until you reach Mimice. From there, continue towards Lokva Rogoznica, where you will come across the Via Artistica. This trail offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and fascinating sculptures that transform it into an open-air gallery – perfect for those who want to combine nature and art!

Climate and weather on the Adriatic coast

Croatia can be divided into different climatic zones, where there are sometimes great differences in weather. The Split climate table is representative of the Mediterranean climate of the Adriatic coast. Nevertheless, there may be some variations in the different regions of the coast. In one place, summer temperatures are slightly higher or lower than in other places. The number of hours of sunshine can also vary slightly.
